Last Sunday I had a lovely family 'reunion' lunch with my Dad, who had flown from Perth to visit for the Australia Day long weekend. I always look forward to seeing the photos that my Nanna brings to every social gathering. Most of the time the photographs consist of various cruises, holidays and parties she has attending recently, but this time was a little different. Among the shots of fancy restaurants and her many friends were re-prints of some very old photographs she has still managed to keep from her childhood. I think they are so beautiful, with most of them taken in Sweden, as that is where my Dad's side of the family originally hails from.

awesome dust storm pics!! and the wee Swedish tot is very cute
ReplyDeleteI think the first dust storm photo looks similar to a wave viewed from under the water as it passes over.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree, my nanna was a very cute little girl indeed, so I guess it's no surprise she wound up modelling for a fair few years.
that dude's hair is incredible. how i wish that style would come back into fashion for men! really lovely family keepsakes x
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of them kissing.
ReplyDeleteThat would make just the sweetest card.
